Hi there!
A note was sent home Wednesday about the 100th Day of school on Monday! I can't even believe that it's already here and we are over half way done! We talkedtoday about what they are able to bring for the 100th day. If you have not seen the note I have attached a copy of it to this email for you to reference! I am excited to see what kinds of things we get in our room!
Thanks!
2nd Grade Families,
On Monday, Jan. 26th we will be celebrating our 100th day of school! We will be completing all sorts of fun math activities on that day! We would love for you to do a super fun project with your family revolving around the number 100. We would like you to create something using 100 items, please be creative and have FUN. You could make something with 100 legos, a picture with 100 pieces of paper, use 100 pieces of pasta to make something cute, please look on the internet or pinterest for some great ideas!
We are also in need of some donations for our 100th day snack mix. If you are able, please have your child bring in ONE SEALED bag of items as long as they are GELATIN FREE AND NUT FREE items! Some possible items are goldfish, cheeze-its, teddy grahams, animal crackers, different types of cereals, etc. Please let me know what you are bringing so we don’t have too much of the same snack!
I would also love for all of my friends to dress up like they are 100 years old on this day– so start thinking about your outfits! We are so excited to be 100 days smarter!
As always if you have any questions or concerns please feel free to let me know!
Thank you again for your continued support! J Ms. Schlegel
